Celebrating Christmas Eve

Today is Christmas eve sure lot of people went out at night and countdown

but for me

totally different

stay at home during night and went out during the day

well let's share what I did just now at the day time

today wake up early to attend my class which only 6 person attended the class (getting lesser student attend classes)

totally no mood for the classes because of the excitement of hanging out with my girl after the class

after my class

straight went to my girl class waiting for her and depart to Pavilion which is my favourite shopping mall

then we took train and walk there

once reach there we went to buy our movie ticket Guilivea travels which was really a nice and funny movie

base on the time we have around 2 hours before the movie start

so we decide to window shopping

but my purpose is to buy shoes, so walking around found that Converse shoes are very nice, then try to compare with others then I lock my target to Converse shoes

after that go find my friend clothes which he called me to help him looking for a shirt which I'm not sure but until the end he said he find it himself (went to the shop twice and picturing) (EMBARRASSED)

then we went to one beverage shop which has a very nice beverage

made of some herbal ingredients, sweet potato and together with ice

UNFORTUNATELY don't have the size anymore how sad and depressed that time

after that window shopping again

after that decided to go to buy some clothes

then we went to UNIQLO which currently have some special offers

after that went back for movie time

my girl keep on tell me to buy later

but then I feel so wanting the shoes right away

after movie went to toilet saw a kid carrying a Converse paper bag

therefore I straight away tell my girl that I want to buy a Converse shoes

then we went back to the shop again

and I saw one Converse shoes that I didn't saw previously

and my size is available

look so nice and comfort

therefore I decided to buy it

just skip my class because of this event

I just attended a summit this morning,

it is a really meaningful and fun conference

At first reached there registered as a participant

then start to have a light breakfast which consist of some mee hoon and tea with some light refreshments

at first the talk was talking about integrity when doing our work, trust each of your member and of course do the right thing and make the right decisions, which also will increase the value of it

Next was talking about Indonesia

I really know nothing about Indonesia until today

Strength of Indonesia which is it is the leader of ASEAN

ASEAN is an association which from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

The weakness of Indonesia is the high in unemployment rate, poverty and poor infrastructure. That is why the Indonesia government is working on the infrastructure.

In Indonesia, it is hard to start a business which needed a very strict regulation, which affect the business to delay one or two months and even a year in order to get the business started.

Opportunity to growth in the foreign market and also the global market which because of Indonesia is rich in oil, natural gas and rubber. Indonesia is very rich of the natural resources which lead them to a future major investment that most of the country will invest in the future.

Singapore and Malaysia are a good potential business

but there is some circumstances whereby the problems between Malaysia and Indonesia, which Indonesian don't like the way Malaysian threaten the maids (Indonesian)

and the other one is classification

Singapore is a very strong company which is major in develop by the foreign company and is classified as one class, the Malaysia and Thailand are considered medium country whereas others such as Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia are classified as small companies.

different classes will affect the commitment of each of the company and will become less effective which bring up to slow changes.

Based on this, the audience got mention about the academic, which the speaker say our Malaysian academic is considered moderate based from the comment of his British friends. But, he mentioned the problem is our country Malaysia is, there are open minded student and close minded student which actually we should try to close the gap and make it moderate so that the gap won't be too wide . Malaysia students got a good opportunity due to knowing multiple language such as Malay, Chinese and English.

Besides, they also mentioned about if foreign professionals want to work in Malaysia, the public safety is very important which the safety should be secured. And decrease the crime rate in order to increase in foreign professionals come to work in Malaysia.

Mentioned of the safety & Governance, talking about the cost of producing material which 70% is from labour cost from the total cost and therefore, the company have to increase the productivity in order to raise the labour salary.

In order not to let our Malaysian flow out from their own country, the government should change the their perception on Malaysia which encourage them to work in own country by providing them more benefits.

Today is the day which ACCA Conference held is my college whereby is organized by my course mate... Congratulates them for making a success event although at the beginning got a bit lagging

BUT

overall was good

First of all, my course rep talking about positive mind set

I do agree with him we must have a positive mind set

but other than this I would like to add on about my own way of having a different positive mind set

for his way is the way people acts like thinking negative and give up easily

and think positive to continue, won't give up until success

I do agree with him about this

but I would also like to add on that,

people like to think too much and think too deep which makes their life difficult

just make things simple and understand it in order to pass through it faster

easy makes like simple isn't it?

therefore I always like to advice my friends around me, to think it simple, it will be simple, which I was thought by a friend of mine also, just to share out with others.

After this, it was the most fantastic part of this conference

there is a speaker, which called as Mr Tan

he explained and share with us about his story about achieving the ACCA qualifications

at first he said his way is not the way we want because is too long

and he also told us why are we more benefits than others by learning accounting

and he let us know about the applications of what we studied

Then

He came out with five alphabetical letters

SKEWS

First S- Skills- we need to learn and equipped ourself with skills to face the exams and able to apply it in every part of our life

Then K-Knowledge- we have to gain the knowledge from what we learned and apply it in our life to make the knowledge useful which will give lot benefits to ourself

After that is E-Experience-we must be experience, gain experience to enhance the skill and knowledge we got, experience means do the same thing repetitive, which we will gain more experience if we do more times of a particular same task

Second last W- Work - we work to gain the experience and work by enhance more of our knowledge and skills

Last one is S- Strategy - what strategy will we use in doing our job and passing all the exams, which really important to us

After that there is another speaker called Mr Dohnny (Might spell wrongly sorry about that)

he told us about ACCA exams provided with 3E s

Exams, Ethics & Experience

Means that we must have the moral value, attitude and experience to face all the exams.

After these sections, we have our lunch by having Mc Donald, which had kept quite a long time

ate a cold french fries

Inflation are mainly cause by 4 factors

mainly about the money and goods

the four factors are

Supply of money goes up

Supply of goods goes down

Demand of money goes down

Demand of goods goes up

Inflation is categorized in two classes

cost push inflation and demand pull inflation

Cost push inflation is whereby the aggregate supply of the country decreased

whereby affected by

the price of the wages and the price of the raw material

which these factors will increase the cost of supply goods and therefore reduce the amount of goods supplied and these which is called as the cost push inflation

other than this two factors there are others factors which will result in increase in price of raw material such as natural disaster and scarce resources such as the oil

whereas

for the price of wages is because of lack of professional and experience employee in a particular industry areas which the industry have to pay more to hire them and increase in the price of the output

basically the increase of raw material and the wages price due to the increase of demand of material and the wages, which normally explained in economics theory

therefore decrease in supply decrease in price which increase the demands for people which increase in inflation

the other is demand pull inflation

which the increase in aggregate demand which the demand increases

which affect by

increase in money supply

increase in government purchase

increase in price level in the rest of the world

Money supply goes up increase the ability of people buying the goods and give rise the inflation

Government purchase increase will give rise to the aggregate demand which increase the inflation

Increase price level in outside country, which will affect the other country to buy outside material which is cheaper from their own country and give rise the inflation of the other country.

Therefore, in summary basically the inflation is affected by the demand of people in a particular company and the ability of the people to demand goods, therefore increase in aggregate demand increase inflation

Saturday Activities

Wake up this morning plan to hang out with my girlfriend as she book my day

when I'm reaching there, I purposely lie her that I'm still at home since she wanted to give me some surprise so is better for me to give her some before she did

so really got her a shock which was a success to me

after that I'm really surprise that my two sisters are in KL

WT......

I don't know they coming also, but my girlfriend is the one who know first..

BUT is alright

so we just hang around have our breakfast

and hang out with my sisters together with my girlfriend

after that I bought present for my birthday friend who actually have a party tonight

just bought him a Manchester United T-shirt

that's the very good day

besides also bought Christmas presents for my siblings

FIRST TIME

hope they really like it

so after that have some drinks and both my sisters went to one of my sisters friends house who going to celebrate her birthday.

After that sent them back, and I hang around with my girlfriend and walk with her to the train station and sent her back while I was waiting my old friends who had a very long time didn't meet

I will named him MR CHONG

so thats the end of first part

Came to second part, after I met Mr Chong, we take all the train to meet all the friends

and together we went to our friend birthday party

Well, actually this is a very unique birthday party for me, because is the first time it was held in an orphanage home (I think so) cause really don't know the actual name of the home.

First, I step in, it was like WOAH, children, old folks, and all the people over there is living there happily can feel the caring, a very kind and sweet feeling among them, which really touched my heart.

I feel really sympathy when I saw each of them, but they are strong even though they are still a kid. I can feel they are trained when they are young, I really hope that this world do really exist more and more home like this which have a subsidize by the government, which really will able to reduce the orphan in our country and let them have a chance to gain more knowledge.

Sometimes, I feel like life is tough, but look at them I really feel like how lucky I am have a really good family care and share of love in a home. I really can't imagine their situation, that is why I'm so impress of their guardian over there can share their love provides their love to these children. I know my friend has a very tough life when he is in his childhood, but he is really one of my best friend. I can feel a lot of his very good attitude, a very nice guy. I feel very proud to have this kind of friend which is so friendly and I get know of him because of this party due to lots of his friends share everything about him on the stage make me have a better understanding of him.

Well, along this party all the kids sing song for him, make performance for him (should be take lots of hard work and affords inside) IMPRESSIVE

they have a very good presentation skill even though they are young which is also a very good thing they sing song mostly and talk all their feelings about my friend and it was a very warm hearted situation.

Well, maybe I'm not so friendly in class (I think so) that all my friends say me I have a really bad social skills (ADMITTED), I don't know the reason behind, all these while I know lots of friends from college investment groups, sharing out knowledge (LEVERAGE) and my college events friends and also try to know more friends. Maybe I'm really don't have a good impression to all my classmates except my group mates which make me feel better.

After the party, we went to PJ to have our supper

and there we share lots of stuff regarding to our course(since all of us different courses now)

eating, watching Manchester United match against Blackburn score 7-1 Manchester leading which top score by Berbatov (REALLY A NICE MATCH)

Inside, which I really remember

talking about a student which have a RM8000 for his monthly expenses

Imagine I got that and put into shares which is to invest

I found that I said something wrong to my friends which make me feel so guilty now

actually there is a possibility to earn 40% from a share if u invest in a growth market share

which I found that I shouldn't said that to my friends

it should base on strong fundamental, market industry analysis to ensure that this share can have a stable growth and most importantly the way of the investment skill of an individual person which I should share more to him (BUT I DIDN'T APOLOGY ABOUT THAT)...

I learnt my lesson (THINK BEFORE YOU SAID A WORD)

Besides,sometimes, I really unable to share some of my knowledge with them,

as there is some feelings told me, I will wrong

which I think is my confident level not high enough

which I really have to learn more on this part

I need to improve

I'm really happy that I got a really good girlfriend who always support me

teach me to be confident

which I will start to learn more and more each day

I guided by a really knowledgeable person,

I learn more from him will help me to gain more knowledge

how are we going to use the P/E ration to determine the future share price

although is expectation but is far more accurate than other stock valuation methods

P/E ratio = Price / Earnings per share

at first we must determine what is the highest and the lowest P/E ratio for the company

and the we must get the industry P/E to determine the benchmark compare with the P/E of the company

let's say lowest 4 highest 10

we must know the EPS of the company as in quarterly

and also their previous EPS

so that we can estimate what is their estimated future EPS

base on historical date and also market outlook of the company

whether he is in boom market or any catalyst that affect him

therefore when we forecast future

Given the Qtr 1 EPS of future is 2.5

seems increase

so the estimated

Qtr 2 EPS of future will be 3.5

Qtr 3 EPS of future will be 4

and Qtr 4 of EPS of future will be 2.5

all these base on self estimation

to be more accurate is better to ensure the market outlook and the news of the company

it might decrease instead of increase

Base on the estimated EPS to determine the price of company in the future

Let's say estimated EPS 2.5

then times with the lowest and highest P/E

lowest= 10 highest = 20.5

this is the price range in the future since P/E times EPS = Price of the share

so if the amount of share now is 21 it is overvalued better not buy it so fast

if the amount is below 10 it is undervalued so we can invest in the company

Before starting an investment
first of all we must know the impact on the particular industry
I share before about this but now I will talk more detail about an industry analysis
Among all the companies in Malaysia there are thousands of listed company and several groups of industry
among all of the industry the famous are plantation, plastic:glove and crude oil industry
as i said every investment must have your own strategy
and the strategy base on what type of risk attitude are you, is either you are risk neutral, risk averter or risk taker.
therefore, different industry suitable for different strategy
some with high dividend some don't
so, the industry analysis should be done first before you making an investment
there is a lot of impact which will affect the industry growth
normally, inflation, deflation, recession these are the one will affect most of the industry
came to a specific one is on weather, prices of material, business growth, the impact on global economics
so we must understand every each of them specifically and be very detail on the impact
and take notes of the news and check whether it will impact on an industry
other than that,
we can also check by checking the BOSS in an industry which is the leading company in a particular industry
they will be the first who will get all the impact before the others do
and therefore, checking the industry trend can also base on them
after analyzing the industry and understand all the issue that will affect them
then only we start to analyze their fundamental
and base on technical analysis and know when is the time we should buy a particular company share

New knowledge analysis

As an investor, we should know well about the company that we are going to invest in

For the skill I learned

most importantly

FUNDAMENTAL

what mean by fundamental

as an overall

a company must have a sufficient cash amount which will enough to cover their liabilities which including the long term liabilities

this is the first step

after that we will look more into the growing of the company by looking at their 5 years profits

and the growing on receivables, inventory and payables

which will indicate whether there are any overtrading or overcapitalisation incurred

that was the first part of the analysis of fundamental

after that will check the distribution of dividend by the company

whether it will distribute yearly or not

I will prefer the company which will distribute yearly which will maximize my wealth as a shareholder

after that check out the major shareholders in the company

a very important organisation is Employee Provident Fund (EPF), Amanah Saham and some of the big companies and hold most of their shares

This is the part that I learned recently

every company has their own industries

we need to use the P/E to indicate our benchmark of buying or selling a share

which also depends on personal risk appetite

by comparing an accurate P/E, we need to compare the company which has a similar product

other than that reviewing the annual report also very important

because the annual report will disclose about the dilute earning per ordinary shares which is like warrant and ESOS which will indicate also the benchmark of the price that buying this company share at the most suitable time

this told the important of the usage of P/E

different industries got different P/E

same industries got their average P/E but

to be more accurate is to compare the P/E among the industries companies which produce the same product

after that is it very important to know about the industries

What will affect this industries?

What is the big influence to this industries?

What is their main businesses?

What is their most important material?

Lots of this questions have to ask, and will need to check on Forum and also newspaper to determine whether to add more investment or is time to let it go.

All these factors are very important

Type of risk appetite very important for every shareholder

Whether the investment is for long term/short term?

The level of risk that you will take?

Benchmarking is very important in facing these problems

a benchmarking will determine your own selves level of share price holding a share

buy it when is on the average or lower than the average of your benchmarking

sell it when is over your benchmarking

which most importantly minimize your cost and maximize your gain

all these will be determine by the P/E

Another thing is to looking at the technical analyst which really have to spend time to learn

This is the way I analyze the performance of industry

which I'm really happy I get to learn all these in 1 year time

Saw a very touching scene today

Just back from home after dinner

when I reach home waiting the lift

lot of people also just came back from their work

and waiting for the lift at the same time

while my lift shown up it was not as crowded as the previous lift

still got some empty space

after that when reach the 1st floor

the parking floor

there is a handicap man waiting for lift

i feel sympathy for him but can't do anything

Luckily

got this man who is from foreign country, most probably from Islamic country

sounds up and give him a space to let him go into the lift

I'm so happy but I don't mind to squeeze

I'm just feeling so happy that I can help this man

it was a very warm and touch feeling

really thanks for this foreigners who has a very kind heart

really hope all Malaysian will take this foreigners as an example

helping others so that others will help you too

Tax Seminar

Actually attended this long time ago

but just share with you guys here

this year Tax seminar some are happy with it

some are not

let's say talking about construction of MRT and talking about the some of the advantage to people to buy their home and of cause for people to buy their new mobile phone because no more seales tax

BUT

there are some

which the construction of the building

and the increase of service tax

which will make people unhappy

it is a very good example of my friend who always like to go to KTV

and me myself who always like to go to Mc Donald

really is not a good thing

Besides that

this talk talking something like

why the government don't try to employ more post graduate students

who are those so success in outside country

instead of employing thousand of labour worker who came from Philippine and Indonesia

I'm not saying that is not a good way to employ these worker

but at least control the number of people which are going to employed

1000 of foreign worker working here it already use up the space of the 200-500 of our post graduate students

government should figure out a good way to solve this problem of surplus of post graduate students who doesn't get employed

these are just some of my opinion

Besides

the other opinion of mine is

no sales tax of mobile phone is good

but the side effect of this is

people of using mobile phone will increase

even the child

don't they think that this will affect the health care of the little children out there

this will bring out a lot of issue

such as

the concern of parents on their children

the media effect to these child

and the decrease in price of sales which make their parents more affordable

and increase the purchasing power

just feel that this is not a good idea

even though is depends on an individual

there is lot of thing to solve by the government of Malaysia

to bring this 1 Malaysia slogan to become an realistic

just some personal opinion from mine

Really happy that most of the state happy with it

and the green tech that will implement

but there are still some problems here and there

to beat the mission and vision of our country Malaysia

let's all Malaysian to work hard together and stay together in one heart

Girl Girl birthday

First time I got my opportunity to celebrate my girlfriend birthday

and this is her 20th birthday

prepare lot of things for her

presents

food

lot of things need to plan also

at first went to her nearest LRT station to meet her

then taking the slowest train in Malaysia the KTM

to Midvalley (which is the place that partially fresh to me)

after that people squeeze including us

squeeze ourself in the coaches and feel myself become thinner

after this part

then we start our plan

first buy ticket for movie

Accident happen suddenly

then I buy her a new pair of shoes due to i accidentally broke her shoes

penalty of paying back

UNEXPECTED

after that walk around buy some snack to fill my stomach

then is our movie time

enjoy movie inside with popcorn and nuggets together with coke

but half way of the movie (THE SWITCH)

my sick came....

pain from the teeth

continue finish movie

and bring her to a restaurant

but is really fun

thinking the time we get old and spending time in there
